FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What can I create in WORC?
Inline math, Python code blocks, spreadsheets, FEA, and documentation — all in one document. Variables are shared across every block, so a math result can feed your code or your spreadsheet.
Is WORC free?
Yes. Core features are free to use. The assistant has limited free usage; extended assistant usage, accelerated compute, and enterprise features are paid.
How is my work saved?
Create a free account to save documents to the cloud with auto-save. You can also export .worc files to your device (Ctrl+S).
What does the assistant do?
It helps you create, summarize, and explain engineering work and documentation, and handles clerical tasks — without trying to do the engineering for you.
Do I need to install anything or create an account?
No. WORC runs in your browser and you can start with no login. An account is only needed to save your work to the cloud.
Which browsers are supported?
WORC is designed and tested for Chromium-based browsers such as Chrome and Edge.
Is my work private?
Yes — unlike competitors' free tiers, your work isn't public. The documents you share are visible only to the people you share them with, and password protection is available.
Who owns what I create? Can I export it?
You own your work. Export .worc files to your device anytime — no lock-in.
How do I share my work?
Send a link. The recipient opens the live, connected document right in the browser — no additional software or licensing required.
Can my team work in WORC together?
Yes. Document linking lets you share inputs and outputs across a team: a requirements document from one department can become the variables that define your work, and your outputs can become their validation.
